Soup for treats instead of trick or treat? Love it!

I made homemade broth this time instead of using cubes.

It's been a long time since I've had matzo ball soup...do you strain the broth and serve it up clear with the matzo or do you leave the bits of veg in it?

It's been a long time since I've had matzo ball soup...do you strain the broth and serve it up clear with the matzo or do you leave the bits of veg in it?

I leave everything in it. I simmer the meat, salt, garlic and onion, then add carrots and celery toward the end, remove the breasts and onion skins with tongs, add the matzo balls and cook those while I break up the breasts into chunks, then put those back in just before the matzo balls are done.

They are little razor faces at that age! I still have scars from Frankie from almost three years ago.
