I love how if you put a piece of cardboard on the floor a cat will very purposefully go and sit on it.
Why?
They have their reasons I am sure!

Oh my goodness! Casper is very picky about fabrics for laying or sitting on. Like, he'll walk along the edge of my bed to avoid walking on my blanket and he won't sleep on the fuzzy blankets my niece and nephew have, but he loves the fleece blanket I left at the foot of the bed for him and he'll curl up and sleep on the bare carpet on the stairs.

Come to think of it, he used to curl up in my blanket all the time when he first got here, but somewhere along the line he decided he didn't like it anymore. I guess he was grateful for anything soft back then after spending who knows how long outside without anything like that to curl up on, but now he knows he can be picky.
