I'm dead, I had chicks hatch this weekend and Casper reeeeally wants to play with them. I let him look into the brooder (with a firm grip on him) like I did last year

But then he tried to push further so I made him back up, and then I got this series of faces that had me rolling

Please can I play with them?

PLEEEEEASE can I play with them?

I'm very serious, let me play with them.

...And when the answer was still no, he went up on top of the brooder to mope and stare down at the chicks.

He really must feel very, very confident and comfortable in his home to sleep like that with his belly exposed - and that is so lovely given he started out on the streets.

I love the fangs! But what is really striking is how long his whiskers are - they go on for forever!!
