I made a post about a possum incident the other day where I was enraged because I thought it killed my girls... bottom line is I LOST it on that possum... when my girls realized I was outside screaming at the possum they came out of their hiding spot and started screaming at me. This morning I was playing a game with headphones on and I head my chicken so I took an earphone off and went to go investigate. As I go to open the door my baby starts screaming she sounded like she was getting hurt and she was scared to death... at that point I'm already opening the door screaming "Mama!?!?!?" and I went full rooster on the cat that was attacking her... I chased the cat a few doors down. Even when it tried to hide under a car I went UNDER the car!! I let that cat know that if you attack my chickens I'll hunt you down.... So I'm working on a PROPER coop now.... Because things are becoming hostile over here... I felt so bad I came late to the possum incident but it wasn't my fault it was actually my sisters. I'm not sure if my chickens are picking fights or something but she's a very mild tempered chicken so I wouldn't think that. Anyways I'm glad I was able to respond so quickly to her this time so she knows I love her <3
