If you plan on getting bantams, plan on having to break their broodiness multiple times a year. They are absolutely nuts about wanting to be mothers.

Hiya, and welcome to BYC! :frow

I raise silkies which are considered bantam via size but yep, very broody. I choose to incubate their eggs than to let them sit on them though, except for this once. :th I have three moms for potentially 6 chicks. Two are here with five chicks, and one's still sitting on one viable egg. So, who's going to lay some eggs around here? :gig
