LOL.... this happens to me too....I think thats what the weather man does, but he is doing something wrong or maybe he tells the weather wrong sometimes so people wont think he is weird?hmmm...thats somthing to think about.....

If I want it to rain, wash it, if I want it sunny for a while, leave the thing dirty!

I'm with cookinmom. I've tried all those tactics and while I have a really clean car and a great little started coop and even a little starter run, I've still got NO RAIN here in N FL. EVERYONE WITH THE POWER IS INVITED FOR A BBQ DOWN HERE, MOM'S COOKIN'.

I feel your pain, we're also a little short on the rain this year, but I swear everytime I wash the car, we have those anoying few drops of rain, just enough to make the car wet enough to attract ALL the dirt - we had that this morning....!
I doubt it made the ground wet, just my car!

Well, my wife is taking the day off and im heading down south and east, I'm on the exact opposite corner of the country from you all so it may take me a couple hours to get there.
Tomarrow I'll open up some paint cans, wash my car and...
Oh crap it wont work! If I leave my chicken coop unatended, it will be sunny all day.
Dangit catch 22.
I was really looking forward to the fun too.
Whoever is in charge of this rain thing, seems to have thought of everything.

GUESS WHAT! This morning, up til about noon, the smoke had come back pretty heavily. This afternoon, we heard the strangest sound . . . THUNDER! When I got to my car, I noticed something on the ground near the front. I nearly got on the ground to look under my car for a leak of some kind, until I noticed there it was under the car next to me, and the one on the other side, and . . . IT HAD RAINED! Maybe only 14 drops, but there was wetness on my car. The wind is pretty strong and the weather reprt this morning gave anly a 10% chance and we got the 10% for 30 seconds or so.
