Depend's on the bird actualy. We just had to put one down last weekend.I have alway's tried to handle my "keeper' breeder's a lot in the past.It doesn't alway's work out. Most of the time it turn's out to be a roo that goe's bad.I raised 2 of the BIGGEST Roo's one a RIR and one Jersey Giant and they were big ham's and I could hold them anyday. But Have had some other's that there was No breaking them.Mostly bantam's with the exception of one Golden Polish roo.He was mean mean mean.I have several newbie's that are following me now hen's and roo's and several fly to my shoulder.Poor Buddy
. Wish he hadnt done again the bad thing. But there seem's to be peace in that coop now and I or grandbaby hasnt got flogged again.
