I've STOPPED Roosters Crowing Is there enough interest for me to patent & supply?

Years of experimenting & now a 100% harmless way to STOP Roosters Crowing. Is there a market ?

But jokes aside, if this actually worked, was humane, and did not affect the ability to eat the meat, it would be a miracle product.

Think of all the homeless roos out there who could go and live in roo only flocks. People who just want pet chickens can have an alternate option and help deal with the rooster overload.

I think you know the answer; of course it would sell. But you're never going to get the entire chicken world on board with anything - that's just not a realistic goal. Instead, focus on a niche. Don't market in general to chicken owners; a majority of them have no use of this. However! Marketing towards urban/suburban chicken keepers as well as perhaps using a portion of profits towards advocating for chicken ownership (educating HOAs, advocating changing laws, proving this product works and roosters are no more bothersome than hens), and I think you've got a winner if it works.

This is just my opinion, and as long as it’s humane im sure lots of people who want roosters and live in the city will want it, but I feel that crowing is an important part of a roosters life and since I live in the country and plan to the rest of my life, I probably won’t ever have need for it. However, I’m sure many will be interested and I look forward to hearing more about it.

With that said, let it be clear I'm not about to go to these expenses for something that clearly would not sell, as it would be false and misleading and leave me open to prosecution for fraud..
I think you know the answer; of course it would sell.
Ditto Dat^^^

I can only give an answer on if I would use it or not if I had a vague idea of how it works. Since you don't want to reveal that, you'll have to take your chances or not.
Exactly!

After over 10 years of painstaking experimenting, I've finally come up with the solution to Roosters Crowing. I'm wondering if there is enough interest for it to be viable for me to patent/produce/supply....

I think that a patent is a waste of your time. First to secure a patent it is first necessary for you to divulge every little secret of this amazing innovation. This is International law and its purpose is to allow every Tom, Dick, and Harry to copy and use this invention for themselves. I think that its called HUMAN PROGRESS. Anyway use it after a decent amount of time has elapsed. The smart thing is to copyright it if it involves a formula and like the formula for Coke-a- Cola you can keep your secret in a mayonnaise jar in your garage for 132 years (I think) and counting. Not even the Food & Drug Administration has the full skinny on this Atlanta, Ga beverage.

You might pair this with a poll about general demographics since that's going to impact your market. The already mentioned "rural vs urban" is a good one!
