Ivermectin Oral for mites

[Dax and Chickens]

My vet gave me ivermectin oral for mites for my chickens. I cannot find mites but all indications are that is why they have no feathers on their bun and belly. The skin is also quite red at times. Has anyone used the oral for mites and what is the egg withdrawal time? Thanks for your help. I am fairly new to chickens.
