John...have tried to get to your forum but it doesnt come up for me....if you click on word link at the top of the page copy and paste the address inbetween the ]url= [ and we should be able to get to it. Very interested in your campagne up there! and myself and my daughter will certainly vote for you. Can you give us a bit of a hand down here in Lee County? So far we have 2 commissioners on our side and one (Frank Mann) is teetering waiting to see how many people actually want this...I don't know about the other 2.
News press had us on front page this week and they have a vote button on that page...I want to show an overwhelming vote YES which will help enormously BUT also they need to know how many other cities in Florida are also doing this! I don't think they have a clue!

But i am more than willing to support any efforts you are making. I myself have my handsful with duval county. I still have heard a word on the petition thats been going around up here. I signed the petition even though I live in a rural residential area of Jax where we are allowed to have chickens. I don't see why people in the city can't at least have hens. I moved here from Orange Park just so I could have chickens, even though I knew I could have chickens in O.P. (at least I know some people who do) I knew I wouldn't get away with have noisy roosters for very long before someone complained lol.

Are there still some Jax folks around here? I’m new to the site, live in Mandarin and hoping to get a small flock soon. Trying to learn all I can at the moment to see what I need to do to make it happen. Just trying to connect with others if theres any locals around the site.

I'm in Mandarin as well and i'm considering just going stealth at this point. Hard to say if it will ever be legal.
