OH, goodness - time for a Scat Mat (I think that's what their called). Low voltage blanket looking thing that gives them a wee shock.

I have a Great Dane that is smarter than....anyone I know. My DH told me we should put up a Macey Cam and I said NO WAY! I'd be just like PC...sitting here at work, yelling at the 'puter! ACK!

When I bought new furniture the last time.I got the basic couch and matching big comfy chair for the DH, I also bought a love seat for my son and his girlfriend (so I could sit on the couch) and a patterned chair for the dog.

Sometimes there is no way to win, so you just have to adapt.
