Holy crap guys... Looks like my duck eggs aren't the only babies I'm incubating. Currently freaking out. Not sure how to tell DH. He won't even be home till Friday night so I've got a little bit of time.

Wao. Those 21 days till hatch are going to be pretty long. Congrats

I am finally seeing a bulls eye in my chickens eggs at least in 3 hens




eggs and I will toss in a couple more eggs from
and an EE I have on Thurs. collection time begins...

I am on days 14 and 12 on 3 diff. batches. but the eggs (chicks) above are the ones I really wanted. I do have friends waiting on my current hatches.

Candled the Rhodebar eggs tonight day seven see veining in some of them and I think the dreaded red ring in one hoping I am wrong going to give it a while they are easy to see into but some are not showing any signs like I said going to give them another week befor I make any decisions. My barn yard mix eggs are 3 days farther along and very defintly fertile and growing like crazy I am so excited going to try to get some pics of the barn yard mixes in a few days. Can't believe I am 24 for 24 with them so far.

I do the same thing, if I see a possible blood ring. Leave in for a couple of days to make sure its not just a large vein.

There are eleven eggs and fingers crossed all of them will hatch, this is my first time incubating duck eggs!!
