What breed is your broody and the eggs under her? I cant recall.

She's a silkie with lots of brown eggs and one silkie egg under her.

if the momma is doing the incubating and hatching then you have no job!! she'll be fine

I thought those were called brooder rooms

I have a one bedroom house. My whole house is a brooder/hatching room.

Incubator is running stable (its only had eggs in it since 1pm today) but I am very satisfied and not so freaked out.. Temp is holding at between 100-101 and humidity is staying at 44% with no water... Not going to stress about that because last time I put water in like it told me and I had a hard time getting it below 55-60 decided to do a dry hatch this time around and will adjust water during lockdown. Of course if it drops below 40 I may add a bit of water, wait a bit and see what it does, but like I said, much more relaxed about this...Got 21 days left

don't worry about water unless it drops below 25

No one is happy today. I had a pipe crack in the cold weather. I found it yesterday just before leaving to go to work. I am happy I had just filled everyones water. I got home after dark,so now I am about to go out and fix it. No gets fresh water until I am done. I am already hearing complaints.
