Just having a hard time with the temperature thing. There is heat in the basement.. maybe I'm doing it wrong. Lol.

then if there is heat down just use a towel under and one over if it maintain 68 down there in the basement it will be fine

Is the machine not maintaining the temperature or do you mean you're still confused? What part of the country do you live in? Is your basement finished? I'm sure it will be fine down there if that's your concern...

That is we I was telling her she said they have heat in there she still needs the towels over and under I have one also it is needed for constant temp
