He's got a pretty good hole there. There's a good chance he'll be able to get himself out on his own. Just keep an eye on him and if he seems to be struggling or gets real weak, prepare to help. I'd give it 16-18 hours before helping. Then I would just enlarge the hole a bit and check his position. If it looks like he's in a good position and can get himself out, then let him. If not start an assisted hatch, but take it slow.

Yay! Congrats!Woke up at 2:30 and two more chicks had hatched and were partially dry. One was the wrong end chick.
