Renee...I just bought that brinsea spot check. The one thermometer I was using out of the pile was correct. I like this little thing. It's got a probe wire to run down to the top of the eggs. And guaranteed accurate , made for hatching.


@blckgoat...did the increase in humidity affect your younger eggs that weren't at lockdown???

I had a hatch this morning!! So thrilled!! I want to leave work....I saw over the webcam, the baby knocked the cover off the water resevoir....I hope it doesn't get in there and drown!

Congrats Nab!!! That would stink having to be away from your hatch! Maybe by the time you get home all 7 will be looking at you!

This was my hatch in sept., all went in the same day, but 3 hatched 3 days late, but they hatched.

I set 240 on the 14th and 150 on the 7th and some the week before, etc----568 incubating as I type this---running 2 cabinets and 2 styrofoam. Got 176 coming out tomorrow to be lighted and the good ones going into the hatcher. You can Donate to My Insane Hobby if you would like!!! LOL
