For clarification, i assumed you were aware terramycin is an antibiotic. It's not just an ointment. The product you mentioned has antimicrobial properties. Completely different products.

Power went out again, I was still waiting on 5 eggs, brought in a mom for the eggs and had chicks on hand warmers...and a towel. I made it even darker for the mom, but I think she got into one of the zipped eggs, it was still alive... but we will see.

That doesn't eye doesn't look too bad. Good job staying on top of it. It's up to you to decide if you want to use an antibiotic at this point. I can't see well enough in those pics to give you an educated guess. But if I was trying a milder approach for a week and it hasn't resolved, yes, I'd move to an antibiotic ointment.

so i was thinking and i have a d,uccle that is at the bottom of the pecking order and i mean she is always by her self and the flock is just mean to her and i knew that these chicks that i just hatched would be good friends to her when they grow up but i was thinking maybe i could put her in the brooder with my chicks for a min and just see if she likes them so she will not be so lonley all of the time while they are growing up she is a very small chicken and is alittle shy would this hurt my chicks i would not keep her in there while im not there and i would not keep her in there long will the chicks get to scared is there anything eles i can let them do together

I had to separate out an adult Leghorn from my main flock to treat some serious wounds. Moved her in with some 1 month old chicks. She settled in with them, was non aggressive, but I wouldn't say there were ever buddies. I would wait until your chicks are at least a month old.
