Pics
i know that all of us will end up with some roosters and i was just wondering what do yall do with them if you already have one i know that two roosters will get in to fights and i dont want that to happen :idunno

I have another pip! That makes egg #4. Only 18 more to go lol!

And I think I'm just going to sell my roosters once they get a decent size. We have a big chicken swap in my town and I'm sure someone will want them. And if nobody does...then I guess they'll be going to freezer camp! I've got my brooder set up and ready to rock once these guys decide to actually hatch. I'm so excited :ya

Thank you! I just discarded 5 eggs that were not fertile and now I still have 16 and if everything goes right 16 babies which I’m sure I’ll lose a couple more but at the moment I have a 63% hatch rate and I’m pretty positive I will get at least a 50% hatch rate if it comes down to it. In my opinion that’s definitely not bad for shipped eggs. Good luck with your hatch!

What breed is in the 6th photo?
That is a Columbian Plymouth Rock. Similar coloring to a Delaware. She's a Beautiful girl. They have shorter legs than the barred rocks. Plus a cute squaty body as I put it, and cute fluffy butts! I got one photo of her from behind ....
