I came so close to having hubby find my hidden egg incubator! he was on one of his looking for something kicks! " can't find my..." then you fill in the blank. That has to be the worst kind of mood they can get into.

yep, I have 2 out of my original batch that were fertile due the 11, one is hard to see into, but it looks like something is going on, and I put in 5 more, due the 16th, but maybe only 3 of the five due on the 16th are fertile They are at the stage you can see veins, only one cannot see inside. That is okay, I am just dinking about, and will not seriously incubate til march, my roosters should be rolling by then.

Well, if you don't mind , I think I'll join this party. My eggs just came today. I'm just hatching barn yard mix. 13 eggs will go in late tonight. Pretty eggs! Now, hoping they didn't get too cold. The packing was incredible! Will candle as I put them in tonight to see if there are any free floating air cells.

I will have to be very open minded about my hatch, I have a basic idea when they will hatch, 2 hopefully the 9,10, or 11th, and 3 more 5 days or so after that... boy I am terrible!

Hmm...I've done a few staggered hatches myself. They can work out.
