that is what my pip has looked like all day lol i know it is not unusual lol how long does it take after they do a little pip like that is it 24 hours i dont know if i can wait that long lol

ok so i know that having eggs in the incubator waiting for them to hatch drives every one crazy what do yall do trying to past the time waiting for them to hatch

Yeah, it can take another 24 hours. This is day 21 for mine. So they may late hatchers.

I'm priming and painting my basement. But that's not practical for every hatch.

ok so i have a promblem so when i first got my incubator some one told me that after i put in one batch of eggs i can put more in the next day or so they said to just put the date on them well!!!! know i only have two that are due for the 21st but i have tree others that are due for the 24 i did not think about it but im in lock down and cant turn my eggs what should i DO!!! for the three that i cant turn it is day 16 for them should i just open the incubator real fast and try to turn them

I know some people that don't even turn after day 11 so i think you should be fine. Let others give their opinions though I'm new to this as well. I'm locking mine down when they are 17 days old cause my silkies are gonna hatch most likely sooner. The others will just have an extra day to position themselves and get ready.

so it will be ok to not turn them ive already turned then two times i did not want any thing to happen to them will this hurt the pipped chick that i opened the incubator i did not know what eles to do

I can understand how stressful it is... but from what i hear try at best to avoid opening the incubator because of shrink wrapping. The chicks in my opinion that are on day 16 are to big to get attached to the shell so you should be fine. Just try to stay calm as much as possible. You staying calm is good for you and your chicks. Making rash decisions like that can have bad consequences. My advice is to watch that chick now for shrink wrapping and to watch the humidity. Try to just stay calm.
