Pandora,
I don't know this for sure ... but, I have heard that you should put the eggs in the middle, rather than at the edge.

Madcap621: A fan on the quits would not comfort me either, but most likely all should be fine. I was hoping that someone else would have advised by now. So, if it was me then I would up the temp a 1/2 degree & try for the 55% or so humidity still, nothing drastic. Here's the "dry incubation" site (see page #5 where Wheaties says something about humidity for chickens at lockdown at 55% & ducks 65%). Looking forward to your post & pictures of your hatch.

Mine go in tomorrow. I have to hatch in both LG baters because I have too many eggs to safely hatch in one lol. I like the babies to have room to walk around without tripping on eggs and cartons. After that my baters will both be empty... I am scared of the possibilities LOL! I might go crazy and get another egg turner and fill up both baters ! My dh will kill me for sure.

Lol my idiot seramas have hatched four chicks! One a blue rock, one a rock mix and two sizzle mixes. All of them gathered with eggs that were frozen, and these as cold as ice themselves, hurt my hands. Five others of the frozen eggs are still on day... 11 I think and still going

Three of the frozen quit in the early bunch and four in the later bunch... But hey you take what you get when you find them in hard freeze. Two blues and two blacks, I'm still trying to figure out how one of the tiny sizzles had a barred baby, that indicates the GIANT delaware roo, shame on him lol.

congrats! Any updates?

16 Silkies! I'm done with this part of my several hatches happening over the next 3 weeks. They all look good, I think. I will get a picture, as soon as I get some new batteries for my camera!

WalksWithDog ... WOW ... Your Serama sounds determined! That is amazing!
