LOL thanks and I should have updated this earlier but her name is Ivory instead.

It just seems to match her better and it's a boy/girl name, so she can keep it if she turns out to be a boy.

Ivory is now nice and snug in her warm brooder box, after a long hour ride in the car. She must be exhausted! Right after she hatched, I took a hand warmer (just in case) and out it in a sock to keep her warm and for company so she wouldn't get lonely, put her in her brooder box and off we went to my dad's house. She's now fast asleep next to her hand warmer/sock "friend".

So cute! Her feathers are almost completely dry and fluffy now.

She's still a bit wobbly right now. Is this normal? How long does it take (about) after they hatch until they can really gain their balance and walk around more?

Thanks!

The miracle is that we so often get the miracle of a perfect baby. Ghe heartbreak is that sometimes we don't get the miracle, but always, life goes on and miracles predominate in spite of the odds!

I remember reading that thread - if you are ever selling eggs from them - let me know. They are absolutely gorgeous!

Well it looks like my final count is 14. Due to low humidity I am guessing everyone is shrink wrapped and died. Will candle and open the eggs later tonight. One of the two sticky chicks is in a bad way. His feet are some of the worst curled toes I have ever seen. He tries to be perky, but will not eat at all or drink without help. He also didn't fully absorb his yolk when he hatched making him even weaker. If he is not trying to eat by morning I will have my husband cull him

I do have a couple eggs that are due later this week, the double yolker and a little frizzle cochin egg. I am trying to make another Mr. Ugly if anyone ever saw him. He was a barred naked neck roo, ugly as all get out. It is the first time though that I listed a free roo on CL and had about 20 people want him. Thought I'd try to hatch another.
