I guess I just wanted someone to twist my arm.

I'm a good arm twister! My next door neighbor's moved over here from Florida a couple of years ago. Her husband told her that she couldn't have any pink flamingo house or yard decor. So, I gave her a pair of white naked necks for this past Christmas, and told her to tell the hubby that they are desert flamingo's!

I am at 8 in the brooder, 4 in the incubator, (2 with significant deformity) 1 more pipped. since the one from last night didn’t do well with being outside incubator we put in a small capful of food and water.

Well, I guess I am in the group that hatch at the end of the month. I have 21 Bielefelders and 4 of my own bird's eggs that are due the 28th. I'm really hoping for a decent percentage on the Bielefelders. I had them shipped in.

Ummmm.....shhhhh not yet. I still have to figure out where to grow out like 20 turkeys and 20+ chicks..... they are going to outgrow my brooder too fast.
But you know more Nn are on the agenda. Besides most people around here don't want them so I have no trouble keeping the ones I want

The lid got left off my incubator for a few hours! The temp was about 60f when I found them. I think it was three or four hours. I hope they're okay. They'll be a week this Sunday. The kids aren't allowed to touch until retraining happens.

They are starting to catch on over here in AZ. There are a few of us that will be going strictly to doing the NN's, because they work out so well as a desert hot summer's bird. I'm even trying to sell off my fully feathered necked hen's now.
