These birds came out of a Black Java Hen's brown egg:

I was surprised when these two developed but when the hen had a pea comb I knew my Black Java Rooster bred my Blue Ameraucana hen (who's father was a Silver Ameraucana ) and their daughter to a Black Java Rooster produced 25% silver.
These birds came out of a brown Java egg which is what threw me until the pea comb.

Thank you saladin, I wasn't sure how to word it right.

sheltonrea the understanding is that they are an old breed of chicken.

well I didn't create them....but they were hatched out of a pen that had an auburn, a black and a white rooster and mostly either black hens or some black with a golden lacing?

The hen and the roo were both given to me so I am just seeing what I can do with them.
