Sorry to sound so ignorant, but can someone give me some insight on breeding or the heritage of JCHink? Or what it means or what I can compare it to? If a breeder tells me the birds are "JCHink bloodline" what are they telling me? Still kinda new at this. Thanks!

Certain breeders are known for lines of birds that they bred for many generations to a certain standard, and those lines are named after them.

Thanks! I thought that's probably what the reference was to. Is there a list of common or popular bloodlines? Or are certain bloodlines specific to the area I live in?

It's more to do with the breeds than the locations - some breeders have nationally known bloodlines in certain breeds that are very desirable. If you go into the Chicken Breeds section of the Forum and find the breed thread that you are interested in, others with that breed will probably be informative. The Exhibition and Genetics section is another place to ask.
