Update...I was working on a smaller coop to put my new chickens in and while I was building it blacktail kept on getting in the nesting box(she didn't lay yet). I shoo'ed her out. The next thing I knew she played a 1/2 off egg and my three other hens were eating it. 5 min later she pooped out the other half of the egg.since that...I have isolated her so the other hens don't get in the habit if eating eggs
