Almost internally pipped. The beak isn't visible yet, at least I can't tell in the pictures.

(I'm not a hatcher, so what does internally pipped mean exactly? I know this is way back in the thread, just reading through but I may skip to more recent soon)

I’m not a Hatcher either but I think it means they have their beak through the air cell in the egg.

But apparently some chicks can completely skip the air cell and go straight for the shell.

Here is the place to see an Itty Bitty chickie grow up, from hours old, to adulthood.
Updates will be weekly if I have time to do so, if updates are late, it'll be like a day, or 2 late. I'm super busy sometimes, so updates will not always be easy to get.

Jelly Bean is doing great. She's moving outside next Monday, it's cooling down outside, & I want to make sure she, & her friends have enough down feathers before I move them.
