Night before last, I was looking up on the forums to see when I could expect my JG's to start laying. I have 3 hens and two roos that just turned 24 weeks. I wanted to get a nesting box ready to go into their coop. Imaging my surprise yesterday when I went to feed and there were three eggs on the ground. Needless to say I got a nesting box in there yesterday! Can't wait to see how often they lay and if the eggs get larger than the small to medium they are now. I figure these are just pullet eggs and will get larger. Color me Eggscited!
