Jersey Giants thread for pictures and discussion

Gosh, those look like pea combs to me...which would suggest Ameraucana or EE (or a cross), but they don't have muffs/beards...

That would make them Black Ameraucanas or Easter Eggers.

I noticed some of the birds in those pics have combs/wattles, others don't. Is there a reason for that? I'm wondering at what age those both develop. Mine are 9.5 weeks old and only the 2 biggest roos even have any red color where their combs will eventually come in. These are my first chickens, thanks!
