[NC Giants]

The NJGClub is still up and growing. We just dont have anyone in the club lookn after the website The director for district 1 which includes NJ is Tom Tiefel from NY. Club President is Joseph Cavalieri also NY. Sec/Trez is Bob Vaughn from MN. email [email protected]

I have enjoyed seeing pics of Giants on BYC. We only have Blacks and have been showing for @ 4 years locally here in NC. Can't getem to lay early enough in the winter to have goodsized birds for the fall shows. Then to have them in show condition for spring shows it messes up breeding season. Woooos me! Starting to see more giants locally at the shows.

I agree on the website. We do get a quarterly news letter that has photos in it along with show info. The annual meet is this weekend in shawnee OK. I wish someone with some computer savy would work on the website. It would help the breed tremendously in this techno age. Lots of folks rely on the computer for communication. I am slow to go that route. Can't even get pics from camera to computer! HaHA

I'm heading to NC after X-Mas to visit family anyone have blue jg's eggs or chicks that way? ~going to Raleigh, NC ~
I can trade Wheaten Marans chicks or 100% Splash blrw chicks or Oilve Egg Layers.

[NC Giants]

I wish my wife and I could go to Shawnee this weekend 14 hrs+ from here. The NJGClub should have a club table at the show. I spoke with Bob Vaughn last week and he was getting his birds ready for the show. My wife works this weekend or we might would give it a shot. I will be showing at the Cape Fear poultry show in eastern NC this weekend. We have entered 2 hens 2 cockerals, and 4 pullets of Black Jersey Giants. Hoping there will be a few Giants in eastern NC that didnt make the long haul to OK. I hope to hear about the Shawnee show on BYC next week. It is the APA annual meet.

I am soooo excited about going to Shawnee! It should be tons of fun. I can hardly wait. I have never been to a "big" show. I imagine I should take my checkbook and some empty cages.

Does anybody have pictures of their JG eggs? One of my Black JG hens started to lay a few days ago and her eggs are MASSIVE!

I'll try and get a pic on here sometime tomorrow - perhaps.

Anyone know how far it is from Little Rock to Shawnee?
