Jersey Giants thread for pictures and discussion

This is my little boy, Odin. He just reached 5 months in this picture and is now 6 months old.
I was still very wishy washy on what breed I really wanted until Odin grew. I absolutely love his size and he is an awesome roo.
We had a little trouble with him today, he decided to dominate my 3 yr old son, BIG mistake. He found out just how furious this hen can get and how far my walking stick reaches.
This year I'm working on "tweaking" out my coop but plan on getting white JG hens next year. Want to raise some blues eventually.

That's good you were so close and were able to give him a swift education. Hopefully it was a "teenager" moment and learned from his mistake. We have zero tolerance when they get older. Especially with this breed that gets so BIG!!
