I counted last evening. I have 16 lavenders (4 with splashes that are very noticable / 12 that are solids at this time) and 3 splashes with white feathering with splashes of medium and dark blue. So if you want a lavender rooster or two let me know. I haven't sexed them but there should be a few girls in the mix that I will keep.
I am noticing that some have white/pink feet with blue legs/feet instead of yellow feet with willow legs/feet. One of my splash hens that I got last year has the white feet and blue legs and she is passing it on in some.
I will be getting rid of the white feet unless they are "perfect" otherwise and some of the yellow feet.
I know the white feet are a disqualification, but one more generation ought to get rid of that trait, so if those of you who have yellow feet and willow leg hens should be fine. Or if you are not interested in SOP's for yard flocks, you will be fine also.
I have 48 eggs in the incubator, so these numbers will increase.
