Here is my 12 WEEK old roo, that was supposed to be a pullet. He thinks his name is Jemima. I guess I'll call him Mr. Jemima LOL
The other chicken in the photo is a RIR that was hatched the same day.

My broody Light Sussex just hatched 7 Jersey Giants. 100% hatch. I also hatched out 10 a week or so ago. TomHusker is getting some of these.

This is the broody (Light Sussex) mama on 6-12-10. She is now so thin. I want her up and outta there quickly! She is just soooo sweet! I just know she will take good care of those baby Jersey Giants!

Almost 3 weeks old. Roo or hen? We were going to sell him, but my husband likes his/her personality. He likes to jump on his hand and sit there which we all think is pretty cool for a chicken. I'll most likely be looking for more of these eggs soon. A second coop is in the planning stages.

kathyinmo the silver one with a black head does not look like a pure bred because it has two colors wich jersey giants do not cary that thrate sorry to tell not trying to be rude.

There is no silver one with a black head. I can guarantee they are purebreds.
