This is my Jersey Splash. She is 20 weeks old now. She has been laying 6 eggs a week since she turned 17 weeks old. I was told Jersey Giants usually don’t lay eggs til well over 6 months. Also read maybe 3 or 4 eggs a week. Is it possible she is a different breed than what I was told? I have had her since she was days old so the age is not in question.

Legs are the wrong color. The shanks should be black, & the pads of the feet are supposed to be yellow.

I'm thinking she may be a Splash Plymouth Rock, a result of breeding 2 Blue Plymouth Rocks together.

Ahhhhhh.... i searched up images of them... looks just like her!!!

Jersey Chickens in Jackson, New Jersey.
We ordered a Jersey Splash and a Jersey Blue. Our Jersey blue could pass as a Blue Plymouth too.
The picture on their website of a “jersey blue” is the same picture used by multiple other hatcheries for a sapphire gem, which is a Plymouth Rock cross.
