I know I have said this before but, I LOVE THIS STORY! Thank you for such a great entertaining story. You really are a great writer and should publish this.

Her poop looks a lot like there's blood in it and she's not running around with everyone, she's really drowsy and is falling asleep in her dust baths. I'm going to get some corid at the feedstore today. It also looks like it's spread to Maple.

(Maple was my first hen along with Kiki. I've had her since she was a chick.)
But, after I've got her medicine and she's away from the rest of the flock, I'll get 29 up.

Chapter 29

"Mom! HELP!!!" Bella cried as her voice was getting drowned out my growls and screeching.
"Fenix, go after her!" Sunny demanded.
"No, you're coming too! You're her mother," Fenix shouted back.
"Guys, there's no time to argue! All the cockerels besides Felix are to stay here to guard the pullets! Sunny, Gingernut, Jazzy, you're all coming too!" Nikki announced in a hurry. They all charged off into the field and followed Bella's shrilling cries for help.
Suddenly, something started rushing towards them. It was a raccoon!
"Punk! Where'd you take Bella?" Nikki demanded. This coon jumped at her and tried to kill her. Nikki was now on the ground, but...
"Look out, coon!!" Fenix Jr. warned, as he and Sonny, Fenix, and another random cockerel named Rupert all ganged up on him. Soon, the RACCOON was the one about to be killed!
Suddenly, the wooshing sound from the hawks came back. Fenix stopped attacking. Memories of when he was just a little chick in a fuzzy suit came back. Gingernut dropping from 1,000 feet. He killed the coon with his spurs quickly, and that's when it happened.
"Help!!" Gingernut cried. A hawk had abducted her again.
"Sonny, Jazzy, Rupert, come with me!" Fenix demanded.
"No! I love Bella too much!" Rupert argued.
"Stop it! The longer you argue, the farther the hawk will take Gingernut and the less likely we will find Bella alive! Rocky, you go find Gingernut instead!" Nikki ordered. They all split up in hot persuit of the hawk that had captured Gingernut and the raccoons that had kidnapped Bella.

The hawk, after many hours of flying, landed in a maple tree. Fenix and Sonny climbed up the tree and fought the hawk to the death. After what seemed like hours of screeching and fighting, they had defeated the hawk.
"Gingernut! Are you alright?" Sonny asked.
"Yes, I'm fine. My wing hurts some, but let's find Bella."

When Fenix Jr. and the rest of the crew noticed the tracks of the coons had stopped, they knew they were close by. But as soon as they looked up from the ground, they saw a horrifying scene!
