Join me on my Classroom Hatch-A-Long, support and advice appreciated!

Pics
So I must’ve mixed up the order in my photos. C (not B) is a clear, so the pics should be switched. We drew the air cells on the eggs today, the kids LOVED IT. I did a few at a time and let them draw the air cell. They were very careful and took the job seriously!

I do think I might have a blood ring, tell me what you think about Egg D:

What causes that? Should I take it out immediately? Thanks!

Also, the clears C,E,F & R, I will candle them again on Day 10. How long should I leave them in if they are still clear?

Yep, blood ring.
"A blood ring occurs during the incubation of chicken eggs when the chick begins to develop but then dies. The blood vessels which had begun to form begin to decompose and, rather than remaining attached to the embryo, they float in the yolk and form a circle which spans the circumference of the egg."

Thank you @PippinTheChicken Should I take it out right now?

So nothing else hands-on until day 10 (Fri) correct? Another candle, do we draw air cells again or wait until day 14? Any other suggestions or things I should be doing or watching for?

Thank you everybody for the support and encouragement! This has been the most exciting project of my career so far, & I have done some cool stuff! 😂

Now that I think about it, I should’ve saved it and opened it (maybe with the kids? Maybe not?) Wouldn’t have been as morbid as eggtopsy of a far developed chicks. Oh darn. I could’ve learned something.
Did you weigh the eggs in the beginning? You may put all the letters in something and pull out a letter that person egg gets weighed. Here is something else you can do is ask questions that your students have learned already. Like why did the egg you tossed stop forming? Answer because it had a red ring around it form that is called a blood ring. How many days does it take for chicks to hatch? How many days will we keep the chicks once they hatch. Answer 2 weeks.

This tells you what the kids have learned already since the beginning of the project.

That’s a great idea. Yes, I took weights after I picked up the eggs.
