My incubator is scheduled to be delivered on the 19th, so that gives me time to set it up before SpeckledHen's eggs get here! [IMG]

Now... where to set it up at? [IMG] Spare bathroom sounds good!

Wherever temps fluctuate the least and don't go below 70 degrees would probably be the best. Good luck on the hatch. Eggs should be there in a couple of days!

    I'm very eggcited! [IMG]

I will have to put a small space heater (no central h/a) in there. It has a thermostat so I can set it to keep the ambient temp around 70 degrees without it having to run constantly. There are no windows (which is why I didn't pick the unused bedroom), so that's a plus. [IMG]

The eggs are already here! [IMG] I'll post pictures and let you know the results of the unpacking tomorrow. I have to wait until I get home to open the box (currently at work), and no internet there.

The eggs got to "rest" last night and I set them this morning! That makes today as day 1, right? I also put five of my own (barnyard mix) to bring the grand total up to 28 eggs. [IMG]

SpeckledHen, your packaging is as marvelous as anyone has ever said it was! Not one egg was broken or cracked. I carefully unwrapped every egg, terribly afraid I might drop one! But, I didn't - they're all safe in the 'bator now. [IMG]

Here's a picture of the eggs resting:
