Jonny Anvil's.... "The Duck Hut" (still in progress)

*UPDATE*

So I decided on Sunday night after bringing home 2 more Ducks, that I would create a better pond for all the Ducks.
I picked up a piece of EPDM liner 10ft long by 8.7ft wide for 70.00
Went and got 6 cubic feet of Montana Rainbow Rock to put around the pond, to hold the liner in place and a nice chunk of blue flagstone. All that came to 90.00... Total pond Cost $160.000
Watching the Ducks Freak out over their new pond Priceless.....
The Ducks absolutely love it.

Here are some pics....

This was pool # 2...lol

It was Raining and the ducks couldn't help but jump in while I went to go get a bite to eat.

Rather easy and fast actually, I will be using an sump pump or sewage pump and pumping the water onto the Garden, the nutrient rich water, thanks to the ducks will do wonders for the garden.
The remaining water once I have given the garden a drink will be pumped to a lower spot on the property.

As for cleaning, once drained I can then get in there with rubber boots and give the liner a scrub, and then use fresh rain water and a pail and rinse, then pump out that water. Once the pond is clean it takes me less then 2 minutes to fill it again as I haul my own water.

Later on down the road I have full intentions of doing a proper set up with a filtration system, and a skimmer.

One day i might add a waterfall and stream as well. We will see.

Cheers!
