Do you have pics of any Db/Db or Db/db+ females, the effect on females is very different from Comlumbian restriction.

@nicalandia .her a couple photos of chicks hatched from Blue tail Buff marans over a Black copper and solid black hens .
some are black ,others are not pure black like E or ER chicks . they are a little brown with a redish faces and beak .they where a week old when photos where taken .

the BC pullet in the middle , has a golden lacing all the way down her chest .plus she is very mossy .sired by Cry wolf .yellow Columbian over a Black copper hen

i think this guy is columbian one gene .
Red roosters I think are Db .

lost one chicks today from Big Blue .many left . they are growing fast .
Golden Boy .looking forward to see his chicks fully feathered up . best looking rooster on the farm for sure.

my chicks are doing very well .the oldest ones are 2 weeks and the youngest are a week old .they both have the own brooder box . they had to share one box for one weeks .thet where not impressed .
now they are happy a lot of space to run around .

older group .they are feathering up very quick .happy about that .

lost 2 this week 1 from Group #1 and black from group2 . resr fine .
I m licking those chicken ,they are full off Vigor .especially Golden Boy progeny .some of them are showing the crest . buff pullet with crest .great looking .

3 weeks old this Sunday . Marneck chicks doing very well . growing fast . most of them have crest .love lovely . only few with feathered legs .

my Markeck chicks are 6 weeks old for the older group and 5 weeks old for the younger group .healthy and growing fast ,they are the most colorful chooks in the farm .love them .not a big fan of the Black and Blue one from Big Blue BLC marans rooster .
I like Golden boy progeny .stunning body pattern .
