How do you know so much about this illegal activity?

I have a friend who is a moderator on a YAHOO GROUP who tells me all.

I kind of doubt he's privy to details about every egg or bird importation that goes on and whether they're legal or not. If he's part of the agency who oversees that (which I doubt) he probably could be in trouble for sharing that info.

Well, I don't know if I'll be packing my bags quite yet, to move across seas or across the country.

However, how long do y'all think it'll be until you have Diamond Jubilee stock to share?

Do you have any older birds that have feathered out to share photos of?

ETA:

Something like this would be fantastic.

I talked to them last summer. They too won't go for the hassle. I ALMOST had her willing. But we both agreed it isn't worth the hassle

Yes, the neck hackles on the one on the right, Hobnob, are way too dark. She is definitely not standard (going by the German standard, there is no standard in the British Isles, curiously enough), her 'fleurs' are too small and too few. I bred her and kept her more out of genetic interest, because I like her looks (I don't show anyway) and to see how she develops over the years vis-a-vis her full sister who looks very different. I don't know what causes the melanized hackles, though Co is my best guess too. She is moulting now and her new feathers should be interesting.
We have talked before, at The Coop I think.
