Since the raccoon experience I vowed never to have all of one breed in one pen, without having some chicks growing out or eggs saved. DH agreed which is spooky, he doesn't like birds until something gets them LOL, then it's personal. Luckily they didn't get anything 'important' or irreplaceable in terms of breeding programs, but i'm not risking it again.
I know someone in pa working on Jubilee Orpingtons right now and has some..but they wont sell any yet...... soon he said....Gonna try to get a few of them if im lucky enough to...
I am just glad there is somewhere to have conversations like this as you don't find it on the Orpington boards. This is the most people I have known breeding the BBS Orps and discussing it.. I am very happy about the interest. If we keep working at it we should be able to lots of Orps at CHicken shows and an improved breed in the USA.

Count me in! I am just getting started but have some definite goals with what I want to have and I'm developing plans to get me there. Thanks everyone for all of the advice and info. You've turned me into an orpington junkie.
