Thanks guys! I'm glad you are enjoying watching the project progress.

I have an idea which ones will likely make the cut for next generation, but it will be quite a while until they feather in and I see their body type to decide. I'm sure I'll be hatching more of these, as this is a slow go project and good selections are important. The more chicks, the better of selections. The bulk of these will likely be culled, as expected with this cross.

yeah..I hear ya Mahonri, and I expect the rest of the eggs should hatch as well. I'll be surprised if they don't. I recall reading people say chickens are infertile in the winter. I don't know where that idea came from, but mine aren't infertile. lol
