Thanks for sharing the results of this project Jody ; I think its a great visual aid to see the pics and grateful for the opportunity to learn . I've saved this to my Favorites and will watch for more news/pics . I'm assuming from reading your first post on the subject that you are useing a SS roo over the BO hens ? Would the results be the same if you made the reverse cross ?

I do believe so Steve. I did that cross for the F1s and then bred the F1 siblings together for F2s (pictured here) in hopes of retaining more of the orp type. It takes longer to get proper color, but I'm ok with that. I do find it helpful when folks work on projects and share pictures along the way. I'm glad you find it helpful too.
