man i cant wait 3 or 4 more days till i hopefully have mine i will only have 7 at most but that is perfectly enough for me, once again so cute

7 of the last 8 eggs hatched last night.

So that makes 57 out of 58 eggs.

Here are the last 7 babies.

And some more pics of the sleepy babies this morning. Notice the cross on some of the little heads. Cute!

From the plumage of your 1st generation juveniles, it may be hard to tell how these will turn out as adults, but the genetic calculator shows that about 25% of these should be Mille Fleur. Yuo had some fabulous speckling on those juveniles. It will be interesting to see how these turn out, especially with the numbers of your great hatch. The more you hatch, the better your statistics should be. I'll keep watching.

It's hard to believe 57 out of 58. You are definitely doing something right. Congratulations.

Thanks everyone! I can't wait to see how they feather in too. I am pretty positive some (about 25% if the numbers are on our side) of this round will be mille fleur pattern. I am hoping for some of the lighter color, like the diamond jubilee, but we will wait and see. More than likely we'll see some light and some dark, as well as columbian type plumage in buff and red. We should be able to see the distinct difference between the 1st generation "faux" speckles and this generations true speckles. I'll be sure to post pictures as they start to feather in.
