I'm sending you a big fat virtual hug for posting the recipes. I am so excited to try these. I have not been very creative at all with this juice cleanse. It was the same ole boring stuff. I'm much more motivated now that I have a variety of options.

Thank you VERY much.

I hope you like them and can tweak them for your own tastes. I tried turnip

if you try it use just a tiny bit, it's overpowering. I see you tried cabbage and broccoli, I think they would be very strong. Maybe try them using less after you get used to the whole juicing thing. The kale is not overpowering.

Last night I took about half a cup of the (dinner) pulp and simmered it with some water, a juiced sweet potato and half of my juicing liquid and ate it like soup. Very odd texture but it felt like warm food and it carried me through the night. You don't want to use all your juice this way because it kills the beneficial enzymes but it re-purposes the pulp. I'm taking a bowl of it with my lunch juice to work.

Hope you find this helpful.

Are you doing the 10 day cleanse or going for longer?

As crazy as it sounds and as crazy as I am, I am doing the 30 day cleanse. I have 13 days left.

Being as though I have only done the juice cleanse for 2 weeks, I am still pretty new and trying to come up with different recipes and trying to add this with that and this with that.

The crazy thing is that I love ALL vegetables but I am having difficulty with just the juice. All of the vegetable juices that taste

, are the same vegetables that I LOVE. Thats crazy!

I love sweet potato, so I will try to juice that and see what happens. I guess if I try mixing fruit and veggie juice, I may get a better tasting juice drink, so that I can enjoy the juice drinks more. Even after the 30 days is over, I still will drink substitute my juices for a meal every day, so this will give me the perfect opportunity to try more recipes.

Thanks again for the information that you posted. It was VERY helpful.

We're going to start juicing with the left over pulp in mind. Like a carrot and apple blend, to then use in home made bread. Just swallowed down a "mean green" for breakfast. Almost too much lemon.

I wonder if there would be a market for straws made of carrot... hollow it out.. use it to stir and suck the juice down quickly... then eat the carrot straw. Like the candied straws for coffee.

It's in this thread somewhere... the recipe with the kale, ginger, cucumber, apple, celery, and lemon. I have banana bread in the oven now... apple supplementing the sugar, olive oil supplementing the butter. We'll see how this turns out. Had some past due bananas, and bread is the only thing I know to do with it!
