Hey I have a 55g tank with some random fish in it nothing special and I also have a 10g tank with platies I would love to get into saltwater fish but I just dont have the time. What type of fish are in your tanks? Sorry kinda getting of the subject of chickens

Well its day 21 for me. I set eggs at 10pm on the 5th so there is still another 10hours before precicely 21 days is up.
I have 12 eggs under my two broody Pekin/Cochin Bantams, 6 eggs each.
I saw one egg had pipped yesterday when Bess got off the nest to drink some water. Both hens haven't seemed to get up since so I wasn't able to see what was happening.
Well I got up this morning to check on them and saw that they were both shuffling about on the nests. Still couldn't see anything but could hear chirping!
Checked on the girls a few hours later (its just past midday) and saw some action over by Bess (the one who's egg pipped early). Silvia is very protective and nips me if I float my hand near her so I have again left them to it. I hope she gets some chicks too.

The only tank I have left had 4 Bala Sharks they are about 9 years old- there's about 5 or 6 bristlenose plecostomus they have babies every now and then- and 2 clown loaches, they are just as old as the Balas. I'm going to use one of my 55 gal. tanks to put chicks in if they hatch! Glad to know you!!

Wow those fish are pretty old I love clown loaches. I hope your chicks hatch, mine are on day 19 today got my fingers crossed

Wow those fish are pretty old I love clown loaches. I hope your chicks hatch, mine are on day 19 today got my fingers crossed

They won't die so I can't buy anyother fish!! I love platies and anything that has alot of babies! Love seeing the different colors they make! It's alot like chicks you know! I think I candled mine to much, guess I'll know day after tomorrow what mine are going to do! Can't wait! Be sure to post here when yours hatch!! Will keep my fingers crossed for yours too!!

My eggs are in lock down and placed into individual hatching trays. So hard to not candle the babies only a few more days until the 28th then i will have a hatching party with a chick shaped cake !!
