I would like to do it but I'll be on vacation on the 17th and won't even have canned anything yet. I'm in the PNW and I don't have any ripe fruit yet. I am actually planning on canning while on vacation as I have a niece who wants to learn how and we'll also be with my aunt who is the person I learned to can from.

So if anyone else is needing to have a later swap date, I'd love to join but I would not want to commit to sending until the end of July.

Also, I'm only willing to receive jam. Is this too picky of me? If so, just count me out!

if you do this swap in Aug I'll have some very special salsa (has maple syrup in it) and a very old recipe for pickle relish (not sweet or Dill) There is nothing much for me can before then except maybe jam/jelly if I can find some berries.

***BUT***
This is my VERY FIRST try at canning. So I don't even know myself if it's going to be good, or what I wanted. I know I ate a lot of it before my grandmother on my dad's side passed.

I made 3 quarts of pickled green tomatoes & cayanne peppers, to eat with greens like turnips & collards.

I would be very willing to send one!

Maybe who ever gets it can tell me if it's any good, or what I could do better.

Plus: I have no idea how long things like that are supposed to sit before the flavor is the best.

Is anyone willing to be my guinea pig?
