I have fluffy-butts! I got an interesting mix, though, and would love to know what they are- two are pale an almost look purply-buff, one is mostly white with black on the top of the head and top of the body, and then one is mostly black...phone isn't charged enough to get a pic yet. I have one more still hatching. Adorable!

Okay- last one hatched, too. It's another with lots of white and black on top, almost like it's a white chick that walked under something with wet black paint. The one that's more black has feathered legs and feet. I'm boggled! They all came out of identical eggs!

My turkey eggs didn't do so good but I'm not the best turkey hatcher in the world. They developed but just didn't hatch so it's got to be my fault and not my senders. The ducks are set to move from the incubator to the hatcher on the 25th so hopefully I will have better luck with them.

Out of my 3 batches I got 0 to lockdown out of the silkies, 0 to lockdown out of what I guess were BO, RIR, BCM? And only 3 OEGB in lockdown on day 20 with 1 Fawn Duckwing hatched... I have 2 BB Red left that I'm holding out hope for but have no pips in them yet.

Alright! Here are pics!

There are about 30 chicks in this particular brooder, so it was difficult to get them isolated.

Red guacamole compote cups work great for food & water bowls...or beds...or toilets! All-in-one!
