I wasn't even going to hatch in July, I put 7 dozen in instead. You came to the wrong place for anything but encouragement to do more.![]()

... who will be raised with chickens and quail to bond with them, and then protect them. If you incubate now, the chicks will still be in a brooder, so you still have plenty of time to build a coop.

The house we are in the process of buying actually has a chicken coop and run already! I've just started doing my incubator research, and I am kind of in shock at the prices even for little ones! And building one doesn't seem to have any cost difference. I need to find someone who will let me borrow one (someone who isn't addicted to hatching eggs like everyone on here!)!I'm definitely going to get in trouble........
