July Hatch-a-Long (including 4th of July hatch-a-long)

Here’s our 4 week old brahmas (now looking like feathered dinosaur babies ) from the June hatch getting to know the 2 day old welsumer and buff orpington chicks. Everyone getting along just fine!

I seriously have 6 cockerels and 1 pullet from my CCL hatch! GAH! I have 2 eggs left but no internal pups or signs of movement in them. Looks like I get to do another CCL hatch.

Sounds about like my beilefelder hatch! Got 2 girls and 7 boys. Ordered some more and they are at the post office now! Hoping for more girls this time!

Well this was a surprise this morning! I'm so glad I decided to put the eggs in the incubator as soon as they arrived.
Not pleased with the appearance of these chicks, lots of leakage for a supposedly 5 year project of perfecting their breeding. Fortunately I didn't spend a ton of bucks on them but this seller is NOT getting a good review from me.
